Description
This volume deals with the pre-Roman inscriptions written in the Sanzeno alphabet, originating mostly from former Tyrol, commonly called Raetic (a term problematic in many respects). The author first gives an outline of the research history, then a detailed description of the inscribed objects in their archaeological context, and an exact transliteration of the inscriptions themselves. This important study for the first time unites all extant inscriptions, and is a first step towards a very much needed Corpus Inscriptionum Raeticarum.
The book is in German.
